Backwoodslots has a 6 lane banked oval known as the "Paper Clip". The track has a 45 foot lane length in Red (lane 1). The oval configuration was built as a replica of the Martinsville Virginia Speedway. Turns 1 and 2 have 2.5 degrees of banking while turns 3 and 4 have 5.o degrees of banking. The overall foot print of the track is 8' x 20'. Trackmate Racing software is used for the timing and scoring of the racing events. The track was designed and built by Lynn Combs and John Meister.
